DSP PULLS  OFF A HISTORIC BLOOD DONATION EXERCISE

  MATILDA TABRI, LEAD FOUNDING MEMBER, DONATING BLOOD  The Democratic Socialist Party (DSP), in collaboration with the National Blood Service, Ghana , has organized a blood donation exercise for the public. The exercise which was under the theme  "Donate blood to save lives",  was organised at the forecourt of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) Ringway campus in Osu.   The event which started about 10:00am on Wednesday April 27, 2022 drew hundreds of students and non-students to the venue.   Blood is the most important component of human life. It is an inhuman bodily fluid that transports essential substances to the cells such as nutrients and oxygen. Blood is a transport liquid that is pumped by the heart (or an equivalent structure) to all parts of the body and then returned to the heart to repeat the process. DSP URGES THE PUBLIC TO PARTICIPATE IN THEIR BLOOD DONATION EXERCISE

Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) a s part of its social responsibility activities, the party is organizing a blood donation exercise on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at 7:30am at the forecourt of the GIJ Ringway campus.   Blood is important to helping patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, traumatic injuries, and even pregnant women who have just given birth. The Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) is, in effect, collaborating with the National Blood Service Ghana (NBS) to organize a blood donation exercise for the general public. This lifesaving care begins with a generous donation from one person. Ghana has yet to achieve the World Health Organization's requirement of 100 percent voluntary blood donation status. The country is still reliant on family replacement blood donors. A Better Approach should be Employed to Improve the Standard of Journalism in Ghana - Flagbearer Hopeful for DSP

Flagbearer hopeful for the Democratic Socialist Party, Mr. Osman Abubakari-Sadiq , has said there should be better ways to improve the standard of journalism in Ghana. He said this on the DSP twitter spaces on twitter on Friday, 3rd April, 2022. I n his commentary on the state of the country's security, Osman suggested that the recent attacks on journalists by the security services are condemnable. In his submission, he said, journalists should up their game and avoid reckless journalism practice that does not impact the lives of the people positively.   In response to a question from the show's host, Patricia Naa Aku Shika Addo, about how journalists can improve their profession, Osman stated, "The recklessness with which Ghanaian journalists operate is alarming. DSP ELECTS PARTY EXECUTIVES AHEAD OF OFFICIAL LAUNCH

  DSP EXECUTIVES-ELECT The newly formed political party in Ghana, the Democratic Socialist Party (DSP), a simulated political party by Level 300 Political Communication Group 1, has elect ed party executives as they prepare to launch the party officially to the public .  The elections were held on March 25th, 2022, on the party telegram platform. The party created a committee for various departments and asked anyone interested to join. After a thorough vetting process, well-deserved people were selected for the various departments. After a week of planning and bonding among the various committee members, the party decided to elect leaders of the committees. An election was conducted by the newly appointed Director of Elections, Miss  Sylvia Aidoo, who exhibited absolute discretion and dedication in ensuring the elections were free and fair and devoid of any misunderstanding even in the aftermaths of the exercise.
