Osman Receives Copy of DSP’s Anidasoɔ Manifesto

Presidential candidate for Democratic Socialist Party, Osman Abubakari-Sadiq, has received a digital copy of the DSP’s 2022 Manifesto. Mr. Osman confirmed receipt of the digital copy of the Manifesto via his Facebook account on Saturday, May 7th, 2022.

 The party is set to launch its Anidasoɔ Manifesto on Sunday, May 8th, 2022 at Kawukudi Park in Nima. The party will also go for a walk from Asylum down, through to Kokomelemele and converged at Kawukudi Park in Nima for the rally. The party chairperson, Priscilla Antoinette Amoah and Party National Organizer, Nana Bempong Amankwah, will address the people on the party's plans to win the elections on 14th May, 2022. 


 

The manifesto drafting committee team presented a digital copy of the manifesto to the DSP Presidential Candidate. The manifesto was formulated partly by the party's initiatives, such as speaking with ordinary Ghanaians about their concerns about the country, meeting with civil society groups, and engaging in dialogue with experts from various sectors of the economy. The Manifesto seeks to bring sustainable solutions to our challenges as a country and brings the hope that we have been yearning for.

"The Anidasoɔ Manifesto will serve as the social contract between the Ghanaian people and the Democratic Socialist Party," Osman wrote on Facebook. Expressing gratitude to the public and the manifesto drafting committee team for their contributions, Osman wrote, "I appreciate you all for your significant contributions to the compilation, and as promised, I look forward to sharing details about the Manifesto's various sectors and themes with you at our Manifesto launch on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Kawukudi Park. Thank you". 

The Director of Research, in an interview with Republic Media last week, stated that the Manifesto will address the glaring concerns which have been ignored by the current government, such as high unemployment, housing deficits, and economic mismanagement, and offer solutions which will alleviate the extreme hardship of the citizens of the country. The DSP is confident that with the exceptional and great leadership Osman has exhibited thus far, victory will be ours on May 14th, 2022.

The exercise which was under the theme  "Donate blood to save lives",  was organised at the forecourt of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) Ringway campus in Osu.   The event which started about 10:00am on Wednesday April 27, 2022 drew hundreds of students and non-students to the venue.   Blood is the most important component of human life.
